Greg Cotter

Gregory Lee Cotter, 66, of Smithville, MO passed away July 18, 2021. 

He was born on December 25, 1954, to Donald Raymond and Margaret Cecilia (Schmitt) Cotter in Smithville, MO where he grew up and in 1973, he graduated from Smithville High School. 

On September 4, 1982, he was united in marriage to Tammy Louise Greason.  After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home.

Greg was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Smithville and the Gold Wing Riders Association. He was currently working for AT&T as a cell site technician. Greg liked muscle cars and took pride in his 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and taking his week-long vacation rides, traveling all over the country. Most of all, Greg loved spending time with his family, especially his sons and grandchildren. 

 Greg was preceded in death by his parents Don and Margaret Cotter.

He is survived by his wife Tammy Cotter; sons Brandon Cotter and wife Kelly and Kevin Cotter and wife Kelsey; grandsons Zachary, Grayson, and Jaxon; expecting granddaughter due in November; brother Steve Cotter and wife Ginger; numerous other relatives and many friends. 

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 23rd at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Smithville.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24th at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Smithville

Burial: Terrace Park Cemetery, Kansas City.
