Patsy Marie Baber, 82, of Platte City, MO passed away November 4, 2020. 

She was born on November 10, 1937 to Chester Vincent and Blanche Marie (Ivey) Robbins in Faucett, MO. Patsy graduated from Platte City High School.

On August 12, 1956 she was united in marriage to Johnnie Melvin Baber. After their marriage they lived in Platte City where they made their home. John passed away on April 29, 2019.

Patsy worked for Farley Law Firm for many years. She was a member of the Hoover Christian Church. Patsy was also a member of the Jaycee’s in Platte City, the Do-Nothing Club, and the Rotary Club. She won the Truman Glenn award for her involvement in the community.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Jean “Polly” Latham; brother, Robin “Robbie” Chester Lundy Robbins.

She is survived by son, Steve Baber and wife, Linda; daughter, Susan Miller; grandsons, Taylor Ahnefeld and Jackson Baber; sister, Mary Jane “Wiggles” Wilkinson; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert and Patricia Baber and Carol Robbins; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation from 1:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
