Mike Musser
Michael Alden Musser, 66, of Plattsburg, MO formerly of Gower, MO passed away April 1, 2024.
He was born on May 14, 1957, to Rollie Alden "Junior" and Anna Belle (Poage) Musser in St. Joseph, MO. Mike grew up in Gower and in 1975, he graduated from East Buchanan High School.
On April 9, 1990, he was united in marriage to Janet “Katie”. After their marriage they lived in Gower, MO, Hollister, MO and in 2018, they moved to Plattsburg, MO where they made their home.
Mike retired from Johnson Controls in St. Joseph after over 30 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Junior Musser and Anna Bell Musser; and sister Sharon Ann Decker.
Mike is survived by his wife Katie Musser; step-children Kim (Steve) Taber, Paige Holder, Dawn (Gene) Bobsin; grandchildren Jarret (Brooke) Taber, Jordie (Hannah) Taber, Justin (Joanna) Tate, Katlyn Pollard, Skyler Bobsin, Christian (Madison) Davis, Courtney Holder, and Cailey Holder; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Connie (Fred) Sitton; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Private family burial will be held at Allen Cemetery, Gower
Public Viewing will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. (no family visitation) Thursday, April 4th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower
