Malinda East, 82, of Trimble, MO passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by her family, November 29, 2020.

She was born on August 21, 1938 to Carl A. and Louise B. (Lowman) Howard in Smithville, MO. She grew up in the Trimble area and graduated from Plattsburg High School.

On August 30, 1959 she was united in marriage to Shay East. After their marriage they resided in several places in Northwest Missouri, settling near Trimble in 1993 where they retired to the family farm.

She was a member of the Paradise United Methodist Church. The most important things in her life were her family and her faith in God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, David Howard.

Malinda is survived by her husband, Shay; children, Missy (Randy) Heilman and Tim (Kim) East; grandchildren, Courtney (Logan) Scarlett, TC East, and Shaylea East; great-grandson, Ty; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Private Family Graveside Service will be held.
