Larry Parks, Sr., 82 of Gardner, KS passed away October 12, 2022.

He was born on November 17, 1939, to Earl S. and Nadine (Kepler) Parks in Kansas City, KS and graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, KS.

Larry retired from A&P when the company moved from Kansas City. He then worked for Masson’s Greenhouse where he retired after over 20 years of service. Larry loved gardening and taking care of his dog Jake. One of the highlights of Larry’s life was being able to be a part of building his son Larry, Jr., home. Larry always took pride in his home, his treasures and most of all his family.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Nadine Parks, his twin brother Gary Parks and his sister Earladean Gloshen.

He is survived by his children Larry Parks, Jr., and wife Kathi, Leigh Ann Williams, Ladonna Harms and husband Larry and Lorne Parks and wife Dana; grandchildren Larry (Sandy) Parks, III, Jason (Jennifer) Parks, Justin (Samantha) Parks, Ryan (Kim) Parks, Josh (Kelli) Williams, Joey Williams, Don Budd, Jr., Jonathan Harms, Meredith (Corey) Helus, and Wade (Katie) Parks; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Charles Parks; sister Marta Orr and husband Jon; sisters-in-law Shirley Brown and Pat Krambeck; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

 Visitation: 10:00-11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 21st at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, (109 N 3rd Street Gower, MO 64454) 

 Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower, MO
