Karon (Barnett) Brown, 66, of St. Joseph, MO passed away, Wednesday, September 27,
2017.

 

She was born on April 7, 1951 to Robert E. and Ida Mae (Randall) Barnett in Plattsburg, MO, where she attended school and grew up.

 

On August 18, 2000 she was united in marriage to Howard Brown.  After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph, where they made their home.

 

Karon enjoyed holidays, family get togethers, flowers, and her grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Sharon Filley and Donna Dittmar, brother, Bob Barnett, and daughter, Charlotte Woolsey.

 

Surviving of the home, her husband, Howard and great-granddaughter, Randa; sons, Charles Arrowood and wife Deana and William Arrowood; grandchildren, Cody (Lindsey), Dylan, Tyler, Johnathan (Sierra), Carmen, Shawna (Justin), Robert, Bryan, Margaret, Justin; fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Jones, Sarah Jo Hobbs and husband Bob, Connie Smith and husband, Jim; brother, John Barnett and wife Nancy; brother-in-law, Roger Dittmar; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 2nd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial:  Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower.
