Joan Parton, 67, of Smithville, MO passed away, October 24, 2020.

She was born on July 24, 1953 in Kansas City, MO where she grew up and attended school.

In 1972 she was united in marriage to Franklin Parton, Sr. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin “Buddy” Parton; parents, and her granddaughter, Ashley Parton.

Joan is survived by her children, Frank Parton and Tammy Lundy; grandchildren, Tanner Parton, Kyle Lundy, TJ Lundy and Marcus Lundy; sister, Linda Reed; brother, Richard Vanderpool; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Donations may be made to the funeral home in her memory.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
