Jerold L. Merriott, Jr., 63, of St. Joseph, MO passed away, December 2, 2022.

He was born on December 14, 1958 to Jerold Laurence, Sr and Mary Esther (Shellenberger) Merriott in Hemple, MO. 

Jerold was a welder and held many maintenance positions throughout his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.

He is survived by his son Bryan Merriott; grandchildren, Hadlee and Brody; sisters, Kathy (Randy) LaFollette, Diana Wohletz, Tracy (Michael) Kempf, and Paula (Ed) Craven; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17th in the Community Room at Woodbine Meadows, 102 S. Woodbine, St. Joseph, MO.
