Glenrae “Gwen” Howard, 82 of Smithville, MO passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018.

She was born on July 19, 1936 to Lawrence White and Lillian (Whiting) Berlier in Los Angeles, CA. Gwen graduated from high school in South Pasadena, CA and community college in Pasadena, CA.

On July 9, 1967 she was united in marriage to Stanley Howard. After their marriage they lived San Gabriel, CA for 7 years, Crestline, CA for 20 years and in 1993 they moved to Smithville where they made their home.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Smithville.  Gwen was adventurous and loved travelling and to go scuba diving. She was very determined to do anything she set her mind to.

Gwen was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Clement Berlier.

She is survived by her husband Stan Howard, of the home; sister-in-law Nancy Berlier; and nieces and nephews, Madeline Flock, Janet Foster, Tom Berlier, and Eric Berlier.

Celebration of Life: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12th at First Baptist Church in Smithville.
