Gary Kelley, 68, of Platte County, MO passed away, Monday, October 2, 2017.
 
He was born on July 22, 1949 to Arvin C. and Billie Faye (Rosson) Kelley in St. Joseph, MO.  Gary grew up in the Camden Point area and graduated from North Platte High School in 1967.
 
In 1968 Gary went to work for United Telephone, which became Sprint where he spent 35 years as a Special Services Engineer. In 1969 he was united in marriage to May Bryan of Platte City.  After their marriage they lived in Camden Point, Holt’s Summit, Peculiar, and later returned to the Platte County area.  After beating the cancer in 2003, he worked at
Perennial Farms for several years.  Gary enjoyed Freight auctions and repairing and reselling workshop items.  He loved riding and repairing motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents.
 
Gary is survived by his wife, May; children, Eliot Kelley and Wendy (Willie) Wehmeyer; grandchildren, Courtney (Adam), Shawn, Zaniel, Jadon, Dustin and Morgan.  He recently welcomed his newest addition his first great-grandchild, Ella Rose.   Also surviving, his sisters, Caryn Bair and Melissa (Jason) Westwood; other relatives and many friends.
 
Celebration of Life:  3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8th at the Dearborn Community Center, Dearborn, MO with visitation following until 5:30 p.m.

The family requests everyone wear their favorite Harley attire.
