Donna Rae Hay,71, of Edgerton, MO passed away July 15, 2018.

She was born on November 11, 1946 in Springfield, Missouri. Donna grew up in Edgerton, Missouri and graduated from North Platte High School in 1964. 

 On November 14, 1964 she was united in marriage to Ronald Lee Hay. After their marriage they lived in Edgerton where they made their home.

Donna worked as a bookkeeper, a bank teller and served as mayor for 10 years. Above all her favorite job was being a wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved traveling, camping out, cooking and being with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ray Cornell and Mary and Archie Smith, her granddaughter Erica Angelina Hay, and her brother Bob Smith.

Donna is survived by her husband Ronnie Hay; daughter Robin; son Dean and wife Jennifer; grandchildren Lindsay and husband Eric, Cameron, Olivia, and Elijah; great-grandson Knox; honorary daughter Lisa Landis; brothers and sisters Tom Smith and wife Teresa, Becky Anderson, Beverly Goad and husband Steve and Tim Smith and wife Christy; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

 Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home Edgerton

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 20th at the funeral home

Burial: Ridgley Cemetery Ridgely, MO
