Deloris Garrett, 79, of Kansas City, MO passed away on February 22, 2021.

She was born on April 19, 1941 to James Benjamin and Jewell (Pippin) Harley in Nottinghill, MO. Deloris graduated from Gainsville High School in Gainsville, MO.

Deloris lived in Kansas City most of her life where she made her home and raised her children.

Deloris worked for Hospital Hill Health Corporation in Kansas City. She enjoyed square dancing, gardening, going to garage sales, and spending time with her family.

She was a member of Antioch Community Church in Kansas City.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Harvey Garrett; grandson, Travis Wilson; brother, Clinton; sisters, Gladys (Carl), Coral (Don), Thelma (Jerry), June (Wayne), and Charleen.

She is survived by her children, Christina Mustard, Cynthia (Mark) Mead, Timothy (Julie) Garrett; grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven (Charlene), Timothy Jr (Jennifer), Kelsi, Jacob, Jeremiah, Gabe, and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Kailey, Abigail, Mary Jane, Travi, Avrey, Mason, Skyler, and Daytona; brother, Gary Harley; sister, Helen (James) Brown; sister-in-law, Rebe Harley; brother-in-law, Clifford Myers; Paul and JP Burns; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27th at Thornfield Cemetery, Thornfield, MO.
