Debbie Shipley

Debbie Shipley, 66, of Smithville, MO passed away November 8, 2023.

She was born on June 26, 1957, to Chester Willard and Helen Doris (Lash) Shipley in Liberty, MO. Debbie grew up in Smithville and attended Smithville High School. 

Debbie was a hard worker, had a huge heart, was willing to help whenever she could and wasn’t afraid to tell you how it was. She was a wonderful mother to her son Mickey and the best GaGa to her grandson Marcus. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Helen Shipley and her brother Eugene Shipley. 

 Debbie is survived by son Mickey Miller and wife Lura; grandson Marcus Clevenger; her siblings Rozella Taylor, Mike (Wendy) Shipley, and Cindy (Bob) Foster; sister-in-law Barbara Shipley; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

 Memorial Service: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, November 16th with Visitation following until 9:00 p.m. at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville

Donations may be made in her memory c/o Hixson-Klein Funeral Home.
