Clare Darlene Everett, 66, Neosho, MO, formerly of Gower, MO passed away March 20, 2018 at Granby House Nursing Home, following an illness.  

 

Clare was born Nov. 20, 1951 in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Clare and Sarah Virginia Williams.  She had worked as a co-manager of Motel 6 enjoying the opportunity to travel all across Texas.  She always loved to say, ‘When I Grow Up….’  Clare married Richard Everett on Nov. 21, 1971 and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2015.  In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Laverne Williams, Jackie Williams. 

 

She is survived by one son, Rick Douglas and wife, Tina of Neosho; one grandson, Nathan Douglas; six step children; numerous step grandchildren and two brothers, Floyd Williams, Jr. and wife, Beverly of Easton, IL and Donald L. Williams of Carthage, MO.
