Amber Quigley, 87, of Kansas City, MO, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 17, 2019. 

She was born on November 16, 1931 to Gaddus Earl and Dorothy Berniece (Williams) Wattenbarger in Milan.  Amber grew up in Milan and graduated from Milan High School in 1949.

On January 29, 1950 she was united in marriage to Wayne Edwin Quigley. After their marriage they lived in Milan, and in 1955 they moved to Kansas City where they made their home. Her husband, Wayne, preceded her in death on November 5, 1997.

She was a business owner in north Missouri.  Amber was a kind and caring soul to all her many friends and neighbors.  She always had a smile and hug for everyone.

Amber was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Sonny Wattenbarger, and two sisters, Louise Ford and Helen Thompson.

She was survived by her children, Debra (Michael) Jones, Donna (Ron) Zimmer, Mike (Charese) Quigley, and Stephen Quigley; grandchildren, Carrie (Jon) Wagner, Brandon (Shanelle) Zimmer, Amanda (Brian) Callaway, Adam (Stephanie) Jones, Shelly (Joe) Huke, Aaron (Daine) Zimmer, and Joe (Heather) Quigley; great-grandchildren, Julia, Hannah, Noah, Natalie, Madison, Heidi, Hailey, Holli, Ella, Jackson, Sarah, Owen, Arya, Lucy, Evan, Nash, Alex, Sophie, Austin, Sadie; great-great-grandson, Liam, on the way; brothers, Donald Wattenbarger and Max Wattenbarger; sisters-in-law, Marjorie Wattenbarger and Vondene Quigley; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 23rd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial: 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery, Milan, MO.
