ELVIE HENRY

Elvie Henry, 83, of Stewartsville, MO, passed away, Tuesday, September 12, 2006.

She was born on August 2, 1923 to Elonzo and Lillie Annie (Helfery) Mitchell in Gower, MO, and attended school and grew in St. Joseph, MO.

Elvie lived in Kansas City, and moved to Roach, MO in 1985. In 2000 she moved to Plattsburg, and later moved to Stewartsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Marvin Mitchell, sister, Christine Mitchell, and grandson, Scott Milbourn.

She is survived by four daughters, Cheryl Swink and husband, Bob, Nims, Florida, Patty Jean Roberts, Laurie, MO, Barbara Jo Miller, Sunrise Beach, MO, Jackie Ann Milbourn and husband, Warren, Stewartsville, MO; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one brother, Oltie “R.B.” Mitchell, Roach, MO, other relatives and many friends.
