Elaine Davis
Elaine Davis, 78, of Gower, MO passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
She was born on December 31, 1941 to Ray and Helen (Garrahan) Farr in St. Joseph, MO. Elaine grew up in rural Gower and in 1960, graduated from Gower High School.
On May 27, 1960 she was united in marriage to Leroy “Wayne” Davis. After their marriage they lived in rural Gower where they made their home. Wayne passed away on April 15, 2019.
Elaine was a homemaker and later worked for Everett Quarries for 12 years. Early in their marriage Elaine and Wayne enjoyed showing horses. They also loved the many years they spent at the Lake of The Ozarks.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Davis; her parents Ray and Helen Farr; son-in-law Pat Livingston; brother and sister-in-law Donnie and Beverly Farr and sister-in-law Pat Farr.
Elaine is survived by daughters, Deborah (Harold) Barnhill and Donna Livingston (Kirby Crump); grandchildren, Korey Barnhill, Bailey Livingston, and Carly Livingston; and great-grandson, Parker Miller; brothers, John Farr and Bob (Carol) Farr; sister, Marianne (Jerry) Jackson; several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
Due to COVID there will be no public visitation. You may stop by and sign the register book at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower anytime until Monday, December 7th.
Graveside Inurnment will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 4th at Number Six Cemetery, Gower, MO.
Donations may be made to Number Six Cemetery.
