Edna Mae (Lawless) Fisher
Edna Mae Fisher, 83, of Stewartsville, MO, passed away, September 9, 2009.
She was born on November 6, 1925 to Cecil and Edith (Mueller) Lawless near Stewartsville, where she grew up. Edna graduated from Stewartsville High School.
On April 21, 1945 she was united in marriage to Cletus W. Fisher. After their marriage they farmed and operated a dairy farm near Easton where they made their home. Her husband, Cletus, passed away December 13, 2005.
Edna was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Easton, where she was a member of the Altar Society, and the Pleasant Prairie Club for over 30 years. In earlier years she enjoyed bowling, painting, and always had a love for gardening.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Verna Blair.
Edna is survived by two sons, Ed Fisher and wife, Debbie, and John Fisher and wife, Teri, all of Easton; one daughter, Connie Webb and husband, Bill, Gower, MO; four grandchildren, Lisa Gallagher, William “Ace” Webb, and Corey and Eric Fisher; sister, Shirley Owen and husband Jim, Smithville; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. A special thanks to Lori Amos and Three Rivers Hospice for their care.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Easton.
Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Easton.
Prayer Service: 6:30 p.m. Friday with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. at the church.
