Ed Shepherd

Ed Shepherd, 58, of Smithville, MO passed away, September 17,
2015.

Ed
was born on March 4, 1957 to E.J. and Jean (Moore) Shepherd in Smithville,
MO.  He grew up and attended school in
Liberty, MO. 

On
December 21, 1995 he was united in marriage to Wendy Keck.  After their marriage they lived in Smithville
where they made their home.

Ed
worked in construction all of his life in the Smithville and Kansas City
area.  He enjoyed watching the Chiefs,
the Royals, movies with his son and daughter, and spending time with his wife
Wendy.  Ed loved fishing and taking his
dog Bailey to the reservoir.  He enjoyed barbecuing
for his family and friends.

He
was preceded in death by his father, E.J. Shepherd and his step-mother,
Dorothy.

Ed
is survived by his wife, Wendy, of the home; children, Noah and Hannah; mother,
Jean Turnipseed and husband J.R.; brothers, Dean Shepherd and Kenny Bennight;
sisters, Jane Driver, Lisa Shepherd and Sheila Jones; several nieces, nephews,
cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation:  6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, September
21^st at Smithville American Legion Post #58.
