Earl M. Coon

Earl Morgan Coon, 87 of Dearborn, MO passed away, Friday, February 3, 2017.

He was born on December 25, 1929 to Earl Franklin and Eliza May (Maget) Coon in Dearborn, MO.  Earl grew up in Dearborn and later served in the U.S. Marine Corps. 

On August 19, 1951 he was united in marriage to Evelyn Smith.  After their marriage, they lived in Dearborn where they made their home.  Earl farmed all of his life.  He enjoyed spending time at the lake, speed boats, hunting, fishing, flying his airplane, and riding Harley’s.  Earl especially loved being on his combine, spending time with family, and giving his friends a hard time.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Fred Coon.

Earl is survived by his wife Evelyn; children, Helen Williams and Danny Coon and wife Vicki; sisters, Mary Beggs and Rosie Weston and husband Al; granddaughter, Courtney Summers and husband Aaron; great-grandson, Logan; grandson, Billy Williams and wife Brenda; great-granddaughter, Joselyn and great-grandson, little Billy; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service:  10:00 a.m.  Thursday, February 9th at Dearborn Community Center

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Dearborn Community Center.

Burial with Military Honors: Dearborn Cemetery
