Dulcie J. Routh
Dulcie Jane Routh, 97, of Plattsburg, MO passed away February 4, 2019.
She was born on June 5, 1921 to Clyde William and Minnie L. (Roberts) Welsh in Lathrop, MO. Dulcie grew up around the Mecca area and attended school in Paradise, MO.
On June 23, 1940 she was united in marriage to Charlie Coy Routh. After their marriage they lived in the Plattsburg and Gower areas, settling in Plattsburg where they made their home. Charlie passed away on December 29, 1993.
Dulcie was the oldest, active member of the First Baptist Church in Plattsburg and was a lifelong member of the Plattsburg Saddle Club. She was the activity director for Clinton Manor and later for Oakridge of Plattsburg both in Plattsburg for several years. She also volunteered at the thrift store in Smithville.
She was also preceded by her sons Noel Routh and Dallas Routh, son-in-law George Yates and brothers Clifton Welsh and Edward Welsh.
Dulcie is survived by her children Neal Routh and wife Juanita, Hilda Yates, and Gerald Routh and wife Lisa; grandchildren Roger Routh, Yvonne Routh, Kim Routh, Steve Routh, Mike Yates, Michelle Yates, Scott Yates, Billie Routh, Kellie Routh, Adam Routh, and Marla McElvain; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7th with Visitation from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at First Baptist Church, Plattsburg
Burial: Greenlawn Cemetery, Plattsburg
Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Plattsburg

So sorry for your loss, Aunt Dulcie was a wonderful person. Thank goodness we have our memoirs. I have many of Uncle Charlie and Aunt Dulcie. So many of my first family is gone. But just know I Love you all. You are all in my prayers.
