Duane was one of the kindest men I have ever known. He was a great conversationalist on many subjects. He had a great laugh  and a big smile. He always appreciated everything I did for him. Especially when I made fried pork chops, biscuits and homemade gravy. I enjoyed sitting around the fire at Cloud Nine and talking to him while the kids enjoyed swimming, hiking and four wheeling. He always put everyone else first, above him. He really loved his family with all of his heart. When his grand kids and great grandkids were brought up, he would smile and talk about each one.He will be sorely missed by everyone. I know I will miss him calling me "You old fart" everytime I sent him a gift or called to talk to him and Carolyn on the phone. He was the best Father-in-law ever and I loved him.
