Dorothy E. Burnfin

Dorothy E. Burnfin, 79, of Gower, MO, passed away in her home on October 29, 2010.

She was born in her parent’s home on January 21, 1931 north of Las Animas, Colorado on dry land. She grew up and attended school in Weaubleau, MO.

She enjoyed fishing, especially Spoonbill fishing, camping, and playing marbles and dice with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Burnfin, and sons, Jimmie and Randy Burnfin.

She is survived by her daughters, Trina Szuba and husband, John, St. Joseph, MO, Janice White and husband, Butch, Rushville, MO; son, Mark Burnfin and wife, Carol, Union Star, MO; sisters, Rose, Fern and Lois, all of Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; over twenty great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by many.
