Donna Kay (Everett) Demster
Donna Kay Demster, 58, of Gower, MO passed away Thursday, July 5, 2013.
She was born on July 20, 1954 in St. Joseph, MO. Donna grew up in Gower and in 1972 graduated from East Buchanan High School.
Donna worked for Super 8 Motel in Smithville, MO for several years. She was a member of the Frazier Baptist Church. Donna loved her cats, drawing, writing and reading. Donna was a loving mother and grandmother and precious daughter, sister and aunt.
Donna was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert L and Elva Nina Adkins and J.C. and Pauline Everett.
She is survived by her daughters, Tess (Adam) Bethmann and Jamie Demster; grandchildren, Megan, Caitlin, Allison, and Lindsey; parents, Beulah and Homer Cantrell and Richard and Darlene Everett; brothers, Keith (Brenda) Cantrell, Mark (Patsy) Cantrell, Danny (Barbara) Cantrell, Shane (Lori) Everett, Kevin (Heather) Everett and Rick (Tina) Douglas; sisters, Terry (Mitchell) Peppers, Kim (Dennis) Humphrey, Michelle (George) Chase and Jenelle (Rick) Bish; Gary Helberg father of Tess and Claude Demster father of Jamie; her cats Billy Ray, Tommy Noodles, Cody, Lacey, Angel, and Lola; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday July 9th at Frazier Baptist Church
Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower
Donations: Megan’s Paws/Smithville Animal Shelter or Hope Lodge
