I had the honor of teaching fifth grade side by side with Donna. She taught me many things but one that stands out is how much she cared for her students and how much her students loved her. Later, my own children were fortunate to be under her care. She certainly left an impression on those she touched.

Donna was always such a smiling face throughout the halls of East Buchanan. Although I never personally had her for a teacher, she always said “hi” to me and seemed genuinely interested in my life, even after graduation. Recently, I lost members of my family and she came to every visitation to give her condolence. I truly appreciated this gesture and I am saddened by this loss.
