Donna Faye Pettit

Donna Faye Pettit, 72, of  Paradise, MO passed away, Friday, December 13, 2013.

She was born on Sept. 23, 1941 to James C. and Dora Lee (Kratz) Creekmore in Higginsville, MO. She grew up and attended school in the Kansas City area.

In April of 1962 she was united in Marriage to Melvin J. Pettit.   After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, Smithville, and later Paradise where they made their home.  He preceded her in death on April 9, 1992.

Donna worked in factory production for Whittaker Cable and later at Lake City Ammunition Plant.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Edward Creekmore.

She is survived by her children:  Venessa (Daniel) Griffin, Belton, MO,  Valorie (Terry)  Wright, Raymore, MO, and James Pettit, Paradise, MO, grandchildren:  Joshua Taylor, Cassandra Sparks, Guinevere Wright, Adaline Wright, great-grandchildren; Tristan Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Kali Taylor, Kaden Sparks and Cooper Sparks, and three sisters:  Betty Jean Hager, Crystal, MN, Janice Sue Burson, Broomfield, CO and Cora Lee Mani, Ohio, half- brother: Johnny Waller, half-sisters:  Linda Kay Waln, Cheryl Snyder and Debbie Waller, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 Wednesday, Dec. 18^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO.  Inurnment will be held at a later date at Paradise Cemetery.
