Donna DuBois
Donna DuBois, 77, of Smithville, MO passed away, December 18, 2023.
She was born on December 4, 1946 to James Stephen and Martha Elma (Cox) Shepherd in Smithville, MO. Donna grew up in Smithville and graduated from Smithville High School.
On December 11, 1964 she was united in marriage to Larry R. DuBois. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they built their home on the family farm. Her husband, Larry, preceded her in death on June 4, 2012.
Donna was the assistant to the department head of Respiratory Therapy at Spelman Memorial Hospital and later worked at North Kansas City Hospital.
She was a member of the Hoover Christian Church.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Bonnie June Shepherd.
She is survived by her children, Kelly (Kevin) Jones and David DuBois; grandchildren, Jimmy and Quinton Brown; great-grandchildren, Zoey and Maysen; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 1:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 21st at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville.
Burial: Community of Smithville Memorial Cemetery, Smithville, MO.
