Donna, you were a dear friend through junior high and high school. We spent many a night just having fun and maybe causing a little trouble, but it was very little. You were so loved because you loved so well, even as a teenager. We got back to together again at the last high school reunion and it was as if not a day had passed. You made friendship easy. You contributed so much to everyone and everything you touched. You were just plain special, caring, good, and kind. You loved others as you wanted to be loved. And you especially loved our Lord. Yes, you were smart. Yes, you were talented. But it was nothing that anyone would know because you told them because you didn’t have a bragging bone in your body. You had the fight of a tiger. In other words, you were one of the bravest people I ever knew. You are one of my heros. I know that obituaries never talk about those types of things and normally I wouldn’t either, but with you Donna Lu, it should be written somewhere for all to see. So I decided that this was the perfect place. I love you and you have left a great void in this world. I look forward to seeing you again someday in heaven where you’ll be singing with the grandest of chiors!!! That will be a day of great joy.
