Donald Lee Stewart, Jr.
Donald Lee Stewart, Jr., 59, retiree of Shaw Electric of Edgerton, MO passed away Monday February 20, 2017.
He was born on May 25, 1957 to Donald Lee Stewart, Sr. and Mary G. (Lane) Stewart in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Truman High School in Independence.
On June 7, 1989, he was united in marriage to Tina Louise (Turner) Kraxner. After their marriage, they lived in Edgerton, MO where they made their home.
Don worked for Omni Electric, owned and operated DPS Electric and retired from Shaw Electric in Kansas City.
He was a member of IBEW local #124. Don enjoyed fishing, working on the farm, and most of all being with family and friends.
Don is survived by his wife Tina Stewart; sons Travis Stewart, Dustin Kraxner and wife Rachel and Joe Kraxner and wife Jennifer; his mother Mary Stewart; his father Don Stewart, Sr and wife Carol; sister Judith Klink and husband Dale; brothers Steve Stewart and Scott Stewart; aunts Gayle McFarlane and Beth Huffman, beloved dog Laverne, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25th with visitation following until 4:00 p.m. all at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.

Tina – You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers. Don's generousity and kind spirit will not be forgotten. I always enjoyed visiting with him at the lake, talking about the farm and the animals. I am sure sorry to hear this news.

It broke my heart to learn of Donnie Lees passing. Every memory I have of Donnie what stands out is how kind he was, especially to a much younger little cousin. I always looked up to & admired him growing up. I’m so sorry you had to leave this earth way to soon, but am glad your pain is over.
