Donald Lee Davis
Donald Lee Davis, 72, of Plattsburg, MO passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014.
He was born on March 22, 1942 to Richard W. and Juanita Mae (Carter) Davis in St. Joseph, MO. Donald Lee grew up in rural Gower and attended Gower High School. He served his country in the US Army.
On May 25, 1989 he was united in marriage to Carol Kendall. After their marriage they lived in Plattsburg where they made their home.
Donald Lee retired from TWA/American Airline after 38 years. After his retirement he was currently working for Lathrop Feed and Grain. Donald Lee was a member of Plattsburg Saddle Club and enjoyed showing and being around horses most of his life. He loved drinking coffee, visiting with friends, tinkering in his garage and most of all spending time with his granddaughter and great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Donald Lee is survived by his wife Carol Davis; children Lacy Bushnell and husband Justin, Lisa Routh and husband Gerald, Hoss Kendall, Tammy Clark; grandchildren Amanda Buthman, Raylee Bushnell and Cody Kendall; great-granddaughter Braelan Walterscheidt; sister Mary Jo Mason; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 29th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower
Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday December 28th at the funeral home.
