Dolores “Dee” (Hilton) Hale

Dolores L. “Dee” (Hilton) Hale 71, of Trimble MO, formerly of Bogard, MO and Plattsburg, MO passed away November 5, 2011.

She was born on October 4, 1940 to Clarence “Shorty” and Lorene (Hawkins) Hilton in Carrollton, MO. She attended school in Bogard, MO and in 1958 graduated from Bogard High School. After graduation she moved to Kansas City, MO and later Richmond and Plattsburg, MO.

On June 21, 1979 she was united in marriage to Bob Hale. After their marriage they lived in Plattsburg, and in 1984 they moved to Trimble where they made their home.

Dee retired after 45 ½ years of service with TWA and American Airlines in Kansas City, MO.

She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the Plattsburg United Methodist Church, and also the Dazhevoo Phashunettes “Red Hats“. Dee served as Mayor of the Trimble, and also served as Alderman for 17 years. She served as the President of the Clinton County Federated Democratic Womens Club and Chairman of the Clinton County Democratic Committee.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, of the home; son, Stephen Isaacks, Watauga, TX; sister, Jo Ann Hunter, Carrollton, MO; niece, Carmen Hunter-Kreisel; aunt, Clara Lakey, Bramer, MO; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 10:00am Wednesday November 9, 2011 at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville.

Graveside Service and Burial 2:00pm at the Ebenezer cemetery near Bogard MO.

Visitation from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday November 8, 2011at the funeral home in Smithville.
