Derrick James Fultz
Derrick James “BooBoo” Fultz, 22, of Gower, MO passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
He was born on May 10, 1993 to James Patrick and Angela Jayne (Wickam) Fultz in Liberty, MO. Derrick grew up in Gower, MO and Black Hawk, South Dakota. In 2011 he graduated from East Buchanan High School in Gower.
Derrick worked for Kay Devine at Kohler and Dram Farms in Agency, MO, DirecTV in North Carolina, Love’s Truck Stop in St. Joseph, MO and he was currently working for Buildex in New Market, MO. He was a member of the Heavy Labors Local Union #663. Derrick loved working on his 72 Chevy pick-up that at once belonged to his grandpa Bob Barnett and great-grandpa Charles Roberts. He was a superman fan, had a great since of humor making all around him laugh with his “BooBoo Face”. BooBoo was very dedicated to his family and friends, who will greatly miss him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shelby Wickam, Jr., Fred Fultz, Sr., Bob Barnett, Charles Roberts, Irene Roberts and Bessie Bullock; and his uncle Fred Fultz, Jr.
Derrick is survived by his parents James and Angela Fultz; brother Kevin Wickam and wife Sasha; sister Shelby Fultz; niece Alexis; nephew Colby; grandparents Frances Fultz and Atina Barnett; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 29th with visitation following until 9:00 p.m. at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower
Donations may be made to Memorial Fund for Derrick c/o James or Angela Fultz

There are no rules or guidelines to help you know how to get through this. you will have many hard days ahead of you. Grief is surprisingly soulshattering. But hold onto each other, take comfort wherever you can, and take just one minute at a time. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss, I never got to meet Boo-Boo but I have watched him grow up through my friendship with Angela all these years. I am at a loss for words.
