DENZEL G. LOUDER

Denzel G. Louder, 89 of Gower, MO , passed away Thursday, September 28, 2006 at the Gower Convalescent Center.

He was born on March 21, 1917 in Polo, Mo. The family later moved to Kingston, Mo., where he graduated from high school in 1937. Denzel married Olive Mae Dawson on June 20, 1937. To this union a daughter, Karen Yvonne was born, October 23, 1938.

Denzel was employed at TWA and they were able to travel the world. He retired in 1979 as the lead electrician at TWA after 36 years. They left Parkville and moved to Pomme de Terre for 11 years, then returned to Kansas City for 11 years.

Denzel loved fishing, boating, bowling, gardening and his family. He was an avid sports fan watching the Chiefs and the Royals.

He was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Denzel was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Olive, of 69 years; daughter, Karen Hedrick and husband Leroy, all of Gower; grandchildren, Dennis Nelson and wife Dee, Debbie Coble, Don Nelson, Doug Nelson and wife Kris, Denise Ballance; great-grandchildren, Casey, Courtney and husband Jeff, Christina and husband Josh, Katie, Spencer, Bethany: great-great-grandsons, Dylan and Blake; brothers, Clayton Louder and wife Juanita, Eldon Louder and wife Marguerite, Melvin Louder and wife Velda; sister, Ethel Portlock and husband Garner, other relatives and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all.

Private family inurnment will be held at East Slope Cemetery, Riverside, Mo.

The family suggests donations to Gower Convalescent Center or Hands of Hope Hospice.
