Dennis R. Sutton

Dennis Sutton, 65 of Gower, MO passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013.

He was born on June 30, 1948 to C.W. and Dorothy June (McWilliams) Sutton in Portland, OR.  and graduated from Easton High School. 

On October 24, 1966 he was united in marriage to Cheryl Maxine Jackson.  After their marriage they lived in the Hemple area and in 1990 they moved to Gower where they made their home.

He was a member of the Frazier Baptist Church where he served as Deacon.  Dennis enjoyed playing baseball and softball and in later years golfing.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Howard William, his grandmother, Pearl Sutton, and father-in-law, Howard Jackson.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl, of the home; children, Scott Sutton and wife Gail, Shelly Parks and husband Chuck, Kellie Sutton, and Doug Sutton; grandchildren, Chase, Tyler, Drew, Kelcie, Taylor, Cole, Kami, and Micah; brothers, Mike Sutton and wife Anna and Donnie Sutton and wife Peggy; sister Debbie Bowen; mother in law, Maxine Jackson; brother-in-law, Ron Jackson and wife Kay; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services:  10:30 a.m. Monday, August 12^th at Frazier Baptist Church.

Burial:  Blakely Cemetery

Visitation:  6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Frazier Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Donations may be made to the church building fund.
