Denise Lynn (Bowling) Banks

Denise Lynn (Bowling) Banks, 39, of Plattsburg, MO, formerly of Smithville, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008.

She was born on September 17, 1968 to Harold Leon and Patricia Louise (Burk) Bowling in Smithville where she grew up and in 1986 graduated from Smithville High School. Denise later received her EMT Certification.

Denise was united in marriage to Glenn Banks. After their marriage they lived in Smithville and later moved to Plattsburg where they made their home.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Smithville.

Denise was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonard Bowling and Dennis and Leota Burk.

She is survived by two sons, Devin Banks of the home, and Timmy Banks, Kansas City; husband Glenn; father, Harold Bowling and wife, Vi, Plattsburg; mother, Pat Bowling, Smithville; sister, Taresia Foster and husband Scott; nephew, Jason Foster and wife, Amanda; niece, Kelley Foster all of Smithville; grandmother, Clymena Bowling, Crane, MO; several aunts and uncles other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 6^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Burial: Green Lawn Cemetery, Plattsburg.
