Delbert was a very nice guy. He painted a picture of the house I grew up in, which I cherish very much. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Myrna, Delbert will certainly be missed. We enjoyed him so much since we got “reaquainted” in the last few years. He was the joy of our class reunions! They will not be the same now that he is gone.

Albany H.S. Class of 1952
Delbert is remembered as the most pleasant Classmate who always had a smile for everyone.
He was everyone’s friend. He always wore his blue FFA Jacket with the gold lettering.
Don’t remember his studying in Study Hall, but he was always drawing for sure!
If he were wearing a short sleeved shirt, he might be seen drawing pictures on his arms with a liquid ink pen!
The AHS Class of 1952 will miss Delbert.

It was a pure pleasure to have Delbert as a friend and be on his daily e-mail list. My last e-mail from him was at 8:32 P.M. Friday night..
Delbert always enjoyed participating in the planning of our Class Reunions and wished we would do one every year! For our 50-Year Reunion, he published and printed our Directory. He filled it with memorable colored pictures. We all will miss Delbert and the fun we had when together.

Myrna, Oh, what a guy he was – to so many, and especially family. He was loved and admired by many, many people, and will greatly missed. May God give you strength, and eventual peace, for you to work through such a difficult time. Love to you and your family, from Maggie
