Debora Lynn Custer

 

 

Debora Lynn Custer was called by her Lord and Savior to join Him in heaven on July 17, 2014.  She was 54. 

 

Debbie was born November 1, 1959 to Josephine and Richard Kenfield.  She was preceded in death by her father.  Debbie is survived by her mother and step-father Josephine and John Jurado; her son Joseph (Amelia); granddaughter, Isabelle; step-granddaughter, Abby; sisters, Ann Marie (Walt) Trout and Sue Kenfield; brothers, Michael Kenfield and Greg Kenfield. 

 

One of Debbie’s biggest accomplishments was when she received her Airframe and Power Plant License.  In 1987 Debbie resided in Platte City, MO where she was hired by TWA as an aircraft mechanic.  The majority of her career was at the overhaul base at KCI in Kansas City until the purchase of TWA by American Airlines.  Debbie relocated to Dallas, TX where she was residing at the time of her death.  Debbie was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt.  She loved sports and followed her favorite football teams.  She had a great love for animals, particularly horses, doggies, and cats.  Her hobbies were collecting antiques and loved flowers and gardening.  Debbie was an active member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church when she lived in Kansas City.  She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends. 

 

Memorial Services will be held in Colorado.
