Debbie Kemmer

Debbie Lynn Kemmer, 66 of Easton, MO passed away July 6, 2024.

She was born on June 25, 1958, to Covel E and Frances Lee (Cummings) Helms in Cameron, MO where she grew up and in 1976, she graduated from Cameron High School.

On February 14, 1991, she was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Kemmer. After their marriage they lived in Easton where they made their home.

Debbie worked for Sherwood Medical, Lee Manufacturing Company and Scott Young Research all in St. Jospeh, MO. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and watching birds. Debbie loved being a wife, mom and especially loved being a Nana to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Covel and Frances Helms; her brother Steve Helms and her sister Sharon Wilson.

Debbie is survived by her husband Chuck Kemmer; her children Mark Sterling and wife Kaycee and LeeAnne Wyckoff and husband Seth; grandchildren Paisley and Brystol; sisters Linda (Bob) Schermerhorn, Beverly (Robert) Wattenbarger, Karen Gann, Evelyn (Lynn) Banks and Brenda (Steve) Lee; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower, MO.
