DANNY GEORGE DUNCAN, SR.
Danny George Duncan, Sr., of Gower, MO, formerly of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2006.
He was born on August 10, 1944 to Franklin and Lillian (Mabrey) Duncan in Boonville, MO where he grew up. Danny attended West Port High School in Kansas City, MO. He then served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, Danny moved to Wichita, KS.
Danny was a truck driver for Mayflower for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Pamela Louise Duncan.
Danny is survived by his children, Danny S. Duncan, Jodi Duncan both of Wichita, KS, Danny G. Duncan, Jr., and wife, Cathy, Smithville, Pamela R. Bartlett and husband Scott, Independence, MO, Phillip F. Duncan and wife, Kim, Lee’s Summit, MO, and Tammy L. Richards, Washington, several step-children, grandchildren, Devin, Kera, Shalyn, Amber, Joshua, Heidie, Payton, Tylor and several step-grandchildren, other relatives including aunt Pearl Louise Mabrey, St. Joseph, MO, and many friends.
Graveside Service with Military Honors 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 25th at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
