Dan, we loved you so much and will always remember your smile, wit, and your great accomplishsments on the river, your favorite place in all the world. We will always hold you in our hearts with memories of both the lazy and the challenging float trips, canoe school, and of the many New Year’s Day floats you made extra special. Remember when you showed up at the cabin on New Year’s Day–the only one to brave the snow and ice. You and Guy chopped the ice in front of the canoes to make it one mile down stream so we could save our traditional float. I, Amy, ran along the bank and took pictures. We had a lot of fun.
Never a season goes by at the Cabin that we don’t think of you. We promise to lift your family up in prayer now. We plan to come Sunday to your service. We miss you so much.
