Dale Boydston
Alvin Dale Boydston, 87, of Edgerton, MO passed away passed away December 18, 2023.
He was born on November 18, 1936, to Daniel and Mable (Bacon) Boydston in Edgerton, MO where he grew up and attended school.
Dale worked in construction running heavy equipment where he retired in 1998. He also farmed most of his life. Dale enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, long back road drives and he loved making music with his friends.He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Mable Boydston and his sister Lois Goodson.
Dale is survived by his son Johnny (Robin) Boydston; his daughter Tressa Bratcher; grandchildren Damon (Lacey) Boydston, Shane (Stephanie) Moore, Dale (Katie) Moore, and Clint (Stephanie) Moore; several great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation: 2:00-3:00 p.m. Friday, December 22nd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville
Graveside Service: 3:30 p.m. Friday, December 22nd at Ridgley Cemetery.

We were so sorry to hear of dales passing. He was such a good hearted person. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. He has taken his walk up to be with the lord,and will be waiting to meet with his loved ones to be with him again. The lord has him in his hands now.
