DAISY MOORE

Daisy Moore, 75, of Trimble, Mo., passed away, Monday, March 21, 2005 at North Kansas City Hospital.

She was born on May 9, 1929 to Allen Johnson and Vata Louisa (Carver) Harris near rural Arley, Mo. She later attended high school at Paradise and Smithville.

On September 16, 1944 she was united in marriage to Lewis Moore. After their marriage they lived in Paradise, Grayson, and in 1975 moved to Trimble where they made their home.

Daisy worked as the Trimble City Clerk for 12 years, as a bus monitor for the Plattsburg School District, and as a secretary at Trimble Wood Products. She was also an Avon Representative for over 30 years.

She was a member of the Paradise Baptist Church.

Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Roscoe, Wylie, Clifford, Jasper ?Jap?, and Henry, and two sisters, Lillian Taylor and Mary Peck.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis, of the home, one son, John Moore and wife, Christina, Kansas City, Ks., one daughter, Connie Marx and husband, Bruce, Lady Lake, Fla., one granddaughter, Kallie Moore, Kansas City, Ks., one brother, Donald Harris and wife, Fern, and sister, Aliene Harris and husband, Leo, all of Smithville, Mo., several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 24th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, Mo.
Burial: Grayson Cemetery.
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Smithville.
