Cynthia Elaine “Cindy” (Phillips) Norris

Cynthia Elaine “Cindy” Norris, 52, of Gower, MO passed away June 19, 2013 as the result of a vehicle accident.

She was born on May 9, 1961 to Jimmy and Betty (Blankenship) Phillips in Hancock, NY where she grew up.  While growing up, Cindy spent her summers in Arkansas.

On December 30, 1981 she was united in marriage to Randy Norris.  After their marriage they lived in New Port, AR and later moved to Gower where they made their home. 

Cindy worked as a CNA for several years.  She enjoyed hunting, being outside and reading.  Cindy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.   

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Phillips; brother, Michael Phillips; son Alan Timm, and granddaughter, Baleigh Norris.

Cindy is survived by Randy Norris; children, Eric Timm and wife Jaclyn and Tiffany Norris; grandchildren, Shane, Devin, Isaac, Serenity, and  Zayden; her mother Betty Schleicher and husband Bill; brothers and sisters,  Becky Figura and husband Dave, James Phillips and wife Tina, Trina Schleicher, and Tony Schleicher and wife Charity; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.    

Funeral Service:  1:00 p.m. Monday June 24^th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower

Burial:  Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower

Visitation:  4:00-6:00 Sunday at the Funeral Home
