Crystal Heinrichs

Crystal Irene Heinrichs, 96, of Easton, MO passed away, July 29, 2024.

She was born on February 13, 1928, to John and Nellie Mae (Crutchlow) Gleaves near Stanberry, MO. Crystal graduated from Guilford High School.

On November 30, 1946, she was united in marriage to David Eugene Heinrichs. After their marriage they lived in Guilford, King City, and St. Joseph. In 1962 they moved to Easton where they made their home. Her husband, David, preceded her in death on January 29, 1998.

Crystal worked for Snow White Restaurant, was a receptionist for Dr. Owen Craig both in St. Joseph, and she conducted ASVAB tests in area high schools.

She was a member of Midway Baptist Church and later a member of Easton Presbyterian Church. Crystal was also a member of the Eastern Star in Stewartsville for many years. She enjoyed ceramics, playing the piano by ear and gardening. Over the years, she cared for many generations of her family including her grandchildren, Donnie, Jessie, Irene, Eugene, and great-granddaughter Deanna.

Crystal was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John Gleaves and James Gleaves; daughter, Twila Ellington; and son Gary Heinrichs.

Crystal is survived by her children, Dale Heinrichs and Guy (Stella) Heinrichs; twelve grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 2nd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial: Stewartsville Cemetery, Stewartsville, MO.

Donations may be made to the Stewartsville Cemetery.
