Courtney Taylor Noll

Courtney Taylor Noll, 16, of Gower, Mo., passed away, Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at her home.

She was born on July 1, 1988 to James Earl Noll and Rochelle Kay Knuth in St. Joseph, Mo. Courtney attended East Buchanan High School where she had just completed her junior year. Courtney received a Double Letter for her participation in the high school band where she played First Chair trumpet and has received numerous Excellence Awards, and was also the Vice President of the Forensics Team.

Courtney was a member of the Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church where she was involved in the STOMP Youth Group. She also was a member the United States Soccer Federation, for which she referees games for the youth soccer league. Courtney was a member of the National Forensics League. She received an Excellence Plus rating for her solo competition, and in Honor Band at the Northwest Missouri State Senior High School Music Camp.

Courtney was a member of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps where she earned an Academic Achievement Ribbon, Meritorious Recognition Ribbon, Battalion Honor Cadet Award, Marksman Award, Unit Commendation, and the First Year Ribbon.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Patricia McDowell.

Courtney is survived by her mother, Rochelle Whatley, Kansas City, Mo., her father and step-mother, Jamie and Tammy Noll, of the home, brothers and sisters, Gregory H. Diederich IV, St. Joseph, Mo., and Colton, Clayton, and Grayson Noll, of the home, grandparents, Jim and Beverly Crist, Stover, Mo., Virginia Donley, of the home, and Frank Donley, Florida, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28th at the Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church, St. Joseph, Mo.
Burial: St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Easton, Mo.
Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
