Connie Woodson

Connie Woodson, 65, of Yates Center, KS passed away on February 6, 2023.

She was born on October 1, 1957 to Charles and Pauline (Gensheer) Adkins in St. Joseph, MO. Connie grew up in Edgerton and Gower and graduated from East Buchanan High School.

On April 15, 1978 she was united in marriage to Alan Woodson. After their marriage they lived in Camden Point, MO and in 1987 they moved to Bourbon County, Kansas. They later made their home in Woodson County, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Nancy Pat Adkins and Carol Ann Carpenter.

Connie is survived by her husband, Alan; daughter, Jenny (Darwin) Kurtz; granddaughters, Allison and Katie; brothers, Charles (Stacy) Adkins, Don (Joan) Adkins and Jim Bob (TJ) Adkins; sisters, Janice (Mike) McNutt and Mary (Tom) Crawford; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower with visitation one hour prior.

Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower.

Arrangements, Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, MO.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home.
