Connie Smith
Connie Smith, 67, of Plattsburg, MO passed away, March 30, 2021.
She was born on March 14, 1954 to Robert E. and Ida Mae (Randall) Barnett in St. Joseph., MO, Connie grew up and attended school in Plattsburg.
On May 22, 1993 she was united in marriage to Jim Smith. After their marriage they lived in St. Plattsburg, MO where they made their home.
Connie retired as the business office manager at Smithville Living Center. Connie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Sharon Filley, Donna Dittmar, and Karon Brown; brother, Bob Barnett.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; son, James (Carla) Mick; three step-children, Kim Sloman, James Smith, and Brian Smith; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Jones, Sarah Jo Hobbs; brother, John (Nancy) Barnett; brother-in-law, Roger Dittmar; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday, April 5th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
Inurnment: Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower.
