Gary and family,Connie was such a wonderful person.  She taught my daughter dance for several years at the YWCA.  I remember the great opportunities that she gave the dancers to perform at the various community picnics and nursing homes as well as going to Cheyene, Wyoming.  She was so energetic and full of encouragement to the dancers.  I know she will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.  I know that my daughter and I will.

I often speak of Connie.  I began taking dance lessons in Bethany at age 4.  I continued until I was 16.  What wonderful, priceless memories I have.  Recitals were so much fun, with the highlight being Connie's dance.  She would take us to nursing homes to entertain the residents…I could go on and on. Because of the wonderul time I had, both of my children took dance lessons and went on to compete.  I was able to work with my daughter's competition tap routine…..all because of my years of lessons with Connie.  We had so much fun.  She always wanted us to be perfect.  I thank her for that!  Prayers to her family and friends.

Connie was a big role model for me as I was growing up. I took dance lessons from her for years and wanted to be just like her someday. As I look back on those years I was dancing I am so glad she was my dance teacher, cause no one could ever compare to her in anyway. RIP Connie, its time to rest now.

Connie was such a cheery fun and energetic lady.. She is the reason I was able to dance in Las Vegas and our group won Nationals.. Loved this lady. I will remember her all of my life.. One of my outstanding memories was her eating her Snickers bars and drinking her diet 7up.. I always wondered how that worked.. Why a diet soda with a candy bar?? Defeats the purpose doesn’t it?? Rest in peace.. Godspeed..

Connie and I graduated from the same school. We started our families about the same time and we celebrated our 50th class reunion this last year, I will remember Connie as the cheerleader, prom queen, and the compassionate person she could be when times called for it. I ran into her when I worked at YWCA and she was teaching there and we would share memories about Stewartsville,

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family for the loss of your dear loved one.  I lost my father and something that comforts me is that Jesus promised at John 5:28,29 that the day is coming when he is going to resurrect those in the grave.  Until then, it is just like they are sleeping.  (John 11:11-13)  May you draw strength from Jehovah, the God of all Comfort.

Connie was my dance instructor for 12 years. From her, our dance group learned a style of dance that would give us the opportunity to travel and dance for thousands of people. We learned to compete and to stay competitive. I have often relied upon those skills throughout my career. Providing training that is useful throughout a student's life is what an instructor does. My condolences to her family and friends. -Amy Weller Voss, Grand River Cloggers, student from 1977 to 1988.

Connie was an excellent dance teacher. I enjoyed many years of watching my niece and then my daughter dance under her instruction. May she forevermore dance in heaven.
