Connie Jean (Cockriel) Hahn

Connie Jean (Cockriel) Hahn, 61, of St. Joseph, passed away, Thursday, November 13, 2008.

She was born on May 5, 1947 to Charles Boston and Eleanor Mae (Rogers) Cockriel in Edgerton, Mo., where she grew up and attended school. She later moved to Plattsburg, and in 1965 moved to St. Joseph.

On September 13, 2002 she was united in marriage to Paul Hahn. After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph where they made their home. Her husband, Paul, passed away in 2006.

She was a member of the Eagles Lodge Auxiliary Aerie #49 in St. Joseph, where she served as a officer.

Connie was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Charles Everett Cockriel and one great-grandson, Brayden.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Sears and husband, Rod, St. Joseph; five grandchildren, Jamie, Brandi and Shawn, Josh and Renatta, Rodney, and Amanda and Wayland; six great-grandchildren, Dakota, Alex, and Jaidynce, McKenzie, Johnathan, and Kaylee; three brothers, Larry Cockriel, Edgerton, Mo., Marvin Cockriel, Cameron, MO, and Kenny Cockriel, St. Joseph; six sisters, Dorothy Huckaby, Plattsburg, MO, Marie Goad and Mary Ann Goad, Edgerton, MO, Martha Curtis, Kansas City, KS, Nancy Cockriel, St. Joseph, and Meredith Karman, St. Joseph; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 17th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton, MO.

Burial: Ridgely Cemetery, Ridgely, MO.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

    May Connie rest in peace, I know she is happy now to be with her Mother, Father and Brother. She will be very missed by all who knew her and even more by those who loved her.
