Coleen Jenkins

B. Coleen Jenkins, 93, of St. Joseph, MO passed away on April 23, 2025.

She was born on December 8, 1931, to Raymond R. and Bessie O. (Cannon) Keller in Hemple, MO where she grew up and graduated from Gower High School in 1949. Coleen attended Gard Business School in St. Joseph, MO.

On March 17, 1955, she was united in marriage to Jerry Dean Jenkins. After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph, MO where they made their home. Jerry passed on October 5, 2022.

Coleen enjoyed traveling with Jerry, crocheting, genealogy, attending reunions, her dogs and most of all being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Jenkins; her parents Raymond and Bessie Keller; and her sister Shirley Taylor.

Coleen is survived by her children Jeffry (Lynn) Jenkins and Jennifer (Joy Miller) Jenkins; sister Lavonne Greenlee; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Private family graveside will be held at a later date at Keller Cemetery.
